PERU, IN. - The volleyball team finished in third place at the Peru Invitational Saturday, August 13. LaVille won its pool play matches against Peru and Blackford before heading into the Placement Round. The Lancers dropped 3-set matches to Hamilton Heights and North Miami to finish in third overall of the nine-team event. Lucy Sherk led the net attack with 15 kills and six blocks in four matches. Elaina Borton was the top setter, handing out 20 assists. Quincy Blodgett led a trio of defenders with 22 digs. Cailtyn Goffinet and Borton also chipped in on the defensive end.
