The junior varsity volleyball team defeated Elkhart Christian Academy, 2-1. It was a thrilling three-set match, with LaVille rallying twice for the victory. The Lancers trailed 13-6 in the first set before knotting the score at 19-19. ECA later led 23-19 before LHS scored the final six points of the set for a 25-23 win. LaVille will return to action on Wednesday, August 17 against John Glenn. The JV match is scheduled to serve at 6 p.m., with the varsity to follow.
