Seventh-grade jumper, Sophie Edison, broke LaVille's Middle School High Jump record on Thursday night at Culver. Earlier in the week, Edison cleared 4'6", putting her on track to tie former record holders, but a two-inch personal best secured her position as the lone record holder. Before Edison's jump, the record was shared by Emily Talaga (2015), Brooke Singleton (2016), and Madelyn Fuchs (2018).
