The Lady Lancers hosted South Bend Career Academy and Wianmac on Tuesday night in the last regular meet of the season, before heading into the invitational stretch of the season. LaVille finished victorious over Career Academy and gave it their all before falling to Winamac by 3 points. Several Lancers finished the night with personal bests in hopes of landing top spots on the tournament roster, and eleven of the eighteen-person roster put points on the board by the end of the night. Madison Mishler led LaVille’s scoring effort with two first-place finishes in both hurdle events and two second-place finishes on both the 400M & 1600M relay teams. Sarah Tharp joined Mishler on both relays and won the long jump. Denni Markin was the shot put champ of the night, and Myleigh Tolbert captured the crown at pole vault. Friday night marks the transition into the postseason with Lancer Relays. Field events begin at 5:30, following senior recognition at 5:10.
