GOSHEN, IN. - The varsity volleyball team traveled to Bethany Christian for a non-conference match. LaVille lost a 3-2 decision to the Bruins. Kendra Borton led the Lancer defense with 15 digs, while Olivia Leonhard added 14. Borton also chipped in with 14 assists. Kate Aschenbrenner added five assists. Lucy Sherk led a balanced net attack with seven kills and three blocks. Quincy Blodgett, Ava Fuchs, and Lily Smith added four kills each. LaVille, 3-4 overall, will travel to the John Glenn Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday, August 20. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.
