Lancer cross country opened the 2026 season at the Wawasee Dave Stookey Invitational. LaVille finished eighth out of twelve teams, with Sophomore Luis Garcia leading the primarily freshman team. Garcia’s finished 15th out of 105 runners, earning a spot for recognition at the awards ceremony. Freshman, Carson Sherman also finished in the top half of the pack in his inaugural race. The Lancers will travel to Culver Community next Saturday for another early season invitational.
