The duo of Colin Christy and Aaron Platz competed in the HNAC Cross Country Championship meet on Saturday. The primarily flat Winamac course offers runners the ideal terrain and competition to finish the regular season with a season and career-best times, Christy and Platz did just that. Both shaved over half a minute from their previous bests, Christy’s PR put him over the finish in 11th, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention. The pair will compete again next Saturday at Tippecanoe Valley to do a test run for the transition to next year’s Northern State Conference Championships before heading to Oxbow on the 14th for the IHSAA Sectional Championships.
