The eighth grade volleyball team played host to Urey in a non-conference match. LaVille dropped a 2-0 decision. Lorelei Carey led the Lancers with 7 serves, 5 assists, and 8 solid passes. Maddi Adkins had one assist and 11 good passes, while Denni Merkin and Syra McCallum had one spike. The LaVille Junior High Volleyball team will be in action on August 29 at Triton. The seventh grade is scheduled to start at 5 p.m., with the eighth grade match to follow.
