Lancer Track started the second week of competition off on Tuesday hosting Elkhart Christian Academy and Trinity. The boys’ team came out victorious with several athletes picking up new season bests, and Michael Good set a new school record in discus. Good’s 165’3” throw eclipsed James Bettcher’s 1997 record (161’1”). Good also won shot put and contributed to the winning 400M & 1600M Relay team wins. Lincoln Hulsey also had a perfect night, picking up four 1st place finishes in Pole Vault, the 200M & 400M races and as a 1600M Relay winner. A balanced scoring effort helped secure the Lancer victory. The team is scheduled to run at South Central on Thursday with field events starting at 5:30.
