LAKEVILLE, IN. - The junior high basketball team is set to open the 2023 Hoosier North Athletic Conference Championships. LaVille will play host to Caston in one of four first-round games to be played on Thursday, January 12. The two teams met in the regular season in Fulton, IN., on November 21. In the seventh grade contest, Caston defeated LaVille, 42-28. On the eighth grade side, the Comets nipped the Lancers, 42-39. The seventh grade will open the doubleheader at 6 p.m., with the eighth grade game to follow.
