LAKEVILLE, IN. – As the winter athletic season continues, we take some time to hear from members of the senior class participating in winter activities. We continue our look with Annabelle Miller. Miller is a member of our winter cheer team. She says that one thing she will miss most about being a Lancer after she graduates will be, “. . . looking up when I’m cheering on the track or in the gym, or when I’m playing tennis and seeing my family and people who love me cheering me on, it’s probably the best feeling ever.” Let’s meet Annabelle Miller . . . Favorite Takeout or Delivery Place? Probably Panda Express or Hacienda Favorite Ice Cream Flavor? Cookies ‘N Cream Favorite Kind of Cookie? Lofthouse Cookies Favorite Thing About Christmas? Going to Henslers to get a tree with my family and the Filley’s Favorite Teacher? Mr. Walter Favorite TV Show? One Tree Hill Favorite Game Show? Family Feud Favorite Game to Play? Code Names Favorite Sport to Watch? Tennis or Football Favorite Animated Movie? Charlie Brown Christmas Who has influenced you the most to this point in your life and how? I have two people, Jeanne Foster, and my mom. Jeanne is just such an inspiring person she has always taught me to love me for who I am. She always tells me that “You’re doing better than you see with your own eyes.” and that has always had the right words to say to help me feel better when I’m upset. She is definitely a very important person in my life. My mom has been an extremely careful person within my four years of high school. My mom is a very patient, loving, and caring person, and my mom has always taught me that I could do whatever I wanted to do in life, and be whoever I wanted to be. My mom has always been one of my biggest supporters throughout sports, jobs, friendships, etc., and I love her very much. What is your proudest accomplishment or moment at LaVille (any achievement, award, club, sport, your choice)? I have played tennis all four years of high school, and my passion and love for tennis has only grown more and more throughout the years. Last year was my first year playing tennis on varsity and I had so much fun throughout the season. I played singles 3. I didn’t win any matches because the competition was even harder playing for varsity but I will say that last season was my proudest accomplishment because of how hard I pushed myself to be the best I could possibly be. When I have free time I like to . . . Hang out with my friends, watch movies, and go shopping. If I could only drive for two hours, where would you go and why? I would go to North Manchester because that’s where my best friend Morgan lives. What is your favorite book? The Summer I Turned Pretty Who taught you how to drive? My Papa Kieth
