CULVER, IN. - The LaVille Junior High Wrestling Team participated in the 2023 Hoosier North Athletic Conference Championships. Lancer Wrestling captured three weight class champions. Congratulations to Gavin Reed, Rylan Davis and Austin Wright. Reed won the 95-pound weight class following a 4-0 decision over his opponent from Triton. Davis earned the 135-pound title by fall at the 1:23 mark of his match. Wright took the 170-pound division, pinning his Caston foe in 36-seconds. LaVille also picked up two seconds, three thirds, three fourths, two fifths and a sixth to finish with 226.5 team points. Winamac won the team championship, compiling 350.5 points.
