LaVille Track traveled west down US 6 on Friday night to take part in the Dennis Rippy Invite hosted by local rival, John Glenn. The Lancers had bested the Falcons in two previous meet ups this season, the most recent being at the Lancer Relays a week earlier. Senior thrower, Noah Richhart, summed things up in the post-meet pep talk, “We got a taste for victory and we wanted more.” The Lancer squad did just that, winning the invite and bringing the hardware home to Lakeville. Field events helped LaVille create a lead, while a balanced showing helped the Lancers maintain it. The team will be back in action on Thursday at Lancer Stadium to host the Hoosier North Athletic Conference Championship meet. Field events are slated to begin at 5:45 EST.
