Baseball Falls At John Glenn

WALKERTON, IN. – The baseball team traveled to John Glenn for a non-conference game to close the 2023 regular season. LaVille battled before dropping a 2-0 decision to the Falcons. Andrew Wolford tossed five innings in a starting role for the Lancers. Wolford allowed four hits, two walks and one earned run in absorbing the pitching loss. He also strikeout one batter. Collin Czarnecki came on to toss the final inning on the bump. Czarnecki allowed one hit and one earned run in earning a no-decision. Brayden Schwitz picked up the lone LHS hit, a single. Coach Brian Lawler’s club will open the 2023 Indiana High School Athletic Association state tournament on May 24.
