SYRACUSE - The LaVille Football team is set for the Wawasee 11 v. 11 THUD Scrimmage. The event will take place Thursday, July 20 at Wawasee High School, Syracuse, Indiana. The four-team outing will feature LHS, Fort Wayne Wayne, Norwell, and the host Warriors. All the action will get under way at 5:30 p.m. at Warrior Field. There will be no admission charge and fans are invited to attend. There will be concessions available. LaVille will join Wawasee on the pressbox sideline, while Wayne and Norwell will set up on the visitor sideline. Two games will be played simultaneously, with the field being split in half. This will be a varsity scrimmage, that will include helmet, shoulder pads, and cleats on the turf field at WHS. It will be a running clock for 15 minutes of offense, 15 minutes of defense and a short break for transition. The offensive unit will start on the 40 going in. Below please find the schedule.
