ARGOS - The LaVille girls soccer team participated in the Argos SoccerFest.A total of 11 girls teams participated at the SoccerFest, including several teams that finished the 2022 season inside the top 20 of the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association rankings. LaVille played a pair of those previously ranked teams in the outing - Class 1A #17 Argos and 1A #6 Faith Christian. Others ranked in the final state soccer coaches poll that played in the event were Class 3A #16 Warsaw, 3A #19 Goshen, 1A #12 Westview and 1A #13 Trinity. In the opening session, LaVille defeated Argos, 3-2.Mikalah Kuskye netted a pair of goals, while Mackena Deason added a goal.  London Kwiatkowski had two assists.  In the second match of the day, the Lancers dropped a 4-2 decision to the Eagles.Kuskye scored both goals for LHS.  London Kwiatkowski and Macie Edwards each had an assist for LaVille. The LaVille girls soccer program will be hosting the Alumni Match on Friday, July 28 at Newton Park.  The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
