The junior high basketball team traveled to Urey for a Indiana Northern State Conference game Thursday. In the seventh grade game, the Lancers battled before being nipped, 29-26. Kysen Ross led a balanced offense with six points.  Nolin Kaiser had five, Jayden Branch and Richard Stone added four points each.Maxwell Fye scored three points, while Masen Schwitz and Cason Finch chipped in with two points apiece. On the eighth grade side, Gavin Johnson led the Lancers with 15 points as LaVille defeated Urey, 31-27.  Sam King had five points, Trever Whiteman four, Clark Rowe and Pierce Riggs three points each, and Cade Davis chipped in with one for LaVille. The junior Lancers are set to close the week at Career Academy on December 6.  The seventh grade is scheduled to tip at 10am, with the eighth grade game to follow.
