The junior high basketball team traveled to Knox for a Indiana Northern State Conference game Tuesday. In the seventh grade contest, LaVille battled before falling, 43-15. Kysen Ross led the offense with 6 points, Jayden Branch 4, Maxwell Fye 3, and Richard Stoner 2. 7th Grade Score By Quarters LaVille 4 4 3 4 - 15 Knox 17 10 11 5 - 43 On the eighth grade side, Sam King led all scorers with 13 points to lead the Lancers. Clark Rowe and Pierce Riggs added 7 each, Gavin Johnson had 5, Trever Whiteman chipped in with 3, and Cade Davis 1. The LaVille 8th grade team improved to 3-2 in the INSC following a 36-21 victory. Both teams return to the court on December 10 at home against Triton. The 7th grade game is scheduled to tip at 5pm, with the 8th grade game to follow at Cox Gymnasium. Additionally, the 2025 INSC basketball championships are set to begin December 11.
