SYRACUSE - Following a 66-65 overtime victory at North Judson-San Pierre to close the 2025 portion of the season, it is now time to turn its attention to opponents on the 2026 version of the LaVille basketball schedule. For the second straight season, the Lancers will be participating in a holiday tournament.  LHS pushed Tri-County into the consolation game after a 58-37 victory in the first round, then topped the Hebron Hawks 62-49 to win the Hebron Tournament championship. This season, a new opportunity presented itself from the folks at Wawasee. We asked coach Edison for more details. "We had Wawasee reach out and ask us to play in their shootout over the holidays," noted coach Edison.  "and we thought it would be a good opportunity for our players." LHS is scheduled to participate in Pool B with South Central (Union Mills), South Newton, and Victory Prep.  In Pool A, Elkhart Christian Academy, Career Academy South Bend, and the host Warriors. Edison's club will open shootout play opposite South Central (UM) at 10am.  LaVille is also set to face Victory Prep on January 2 at approximately 4pm. The full schedule is listed below.
