LAKEVILLE - Congratulations to Coach Michael Edison on reaching 250 career wins! Following the Christmas holiday, the LaVille high school basketball team opened the 2026 portion of the season at the Wawasee Tournament. Edison's club swept through pool play 3-0 to advance to the championship game. The final game in pool play - a 58-40 victory over South Newton - ultimately helped the Lancer coach to #250. Following the victory, we had a chance to catch up with Edison regarding the recent coaching milestone. "It has been a pleasure to be able to work with so many great assistant coaches over the years and have the opportunity to coach so many amazing players and even better young men!
