WINONA LAKE - It's been 18 days since LaVille Lady Hoops last played a game. GAMEDAY heads to Winona Lake, Indiana, as the Lancers open the 2026 portion of their schedule. The varsity-only contest is scheduled for 6pm. LaVille is 4-9 overall following a 59-33 loss to North Miami on December 20. The Lancers are looking to get back on track as the next month of the season gets underway. Faith Mejer leads the LHS offense, scoring 15.8 points per game, and 2.5 steals per outing. Denni Markin is tops in rebounding and assists. Lakeland Christian Academy is 3-12 overall after a 53-32 loss to Lakeland on January 6. Olivia Hawks leads the Cougars at 14.0 ppg, 13.0 rebounds, and in blocked shots.  Allie Calizo addes 2.9 assists and 3.1 steals for LCA. Coach Craig Calio's club averages 31.6 points per game and are 3-4 when they score 32 points or more.  LCA, who is looking to end a five-game losing skid, allows 43.5 ppg. Coach Nicholas Amor's crew has averaged 35.9 points during the first part of the season and are 4-4 when scoring 36 points or more.  LHS allows 45.8 ppg.
