LaVille came up on the short end of a 10-0 decision by the Lions.LHS goalie Ryan Maenhout made 20 stops in goal. Coach Kevin Christy's club returns to the pitch on September 12 against Elkhart Christian Academy.  Kick is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Newton Park. The eighth grade suffered a 2-0 loss to the Panthers, but gave a valiant effort.  "The 8th graders played a tough match against Pioneer," said eighth grade coach Jen Higley.  "Pioneer had several really good jump servers and our girls never backed down! The score may not reflect it but the girls played hard and they never gave up." Olivia Harman was 4/5 with one ace, Sydney Williams was 4/5 from the service line, and Addie Jones was 3/4 serving as well.
