On Wednesday night, the Lady Lancer Track & Field Team kicked off the 25-26 season under sunny skies at Culver Academies. A talented 2025 graduating class left big shoes to fill, but like their predecessors, newcomers to the 2026 squad showed that they were ready to compete. Madison Mishler and Dennie Markin lead LaVille’s scoring effort. Freshman sprinter Mishler dominated the hurdles, while junior Markin matched Mishler’s 10 points with two first-place finishes in each of the throwing events. Oliva Harman picked up a pair of second-place finis.hes in the 400M & Long Jump. Despite good placement in most field events, the Lancers were outmatched on the track.
