PLYMOUTH - The junior high golf team played host to Triton in a non-conference match at a rain-soaked Woodbury GC Monday. This season, LaVille has two teams - LaVille Blue and LaVille White - due to the interest in golf. In team scoring, LaVille Blue defeated Triton, 228-250, while LaVille White fell to the Trojans, 250-261. Wyatt Harman carded a nine-hole score of 52 to earn medalist honors for the Lancers. Also shooting well were Austin Wooster with a 54, Jace Janiak 55, and Carter Howard 57. Also contributing for LaVille were Gavin McBride with a 67, Noah Warner 74, Sam Strang 69, Kole Geraghty 66, Rush Loftus 81, Shayde Dutoi 69, Addison Christy 84, and Brynn Endicott 92. There were several golfers playing in their first-ever match and performed well. Gavien Trusty was low-man for the Trojans with a 61. The junior Lancers return to match play on Tuesday April 28 v Caston at Woodbury GC, 5pm.
