LANCER DIGEST GIRLS SOCCER The girls soccer team traveled to Culver Community Wednesday. LaVille and Culver battled to a 1-1 tie after 40 minutes before the Cavaliers scored two second-half goals for a 3-1 win. CHS scored in the 4th minute, while Mackena Deason netted the Lancer goal on a penalty kick at the 20th minute. Coach Brandon Shafer's club outshot Culver and had more corner kicks, but could'd slip the ball past the Cavalier goalie. Culver improved to 10-2-1 overall. The Lancers move to 8-3-2 overall and will travel to John Glenn on September 23 for a 12 p.m. start ET.
