South Bend - The LaVille softball team ran into a solid South Bend Saint Joseph squad Monday in downtown South Bend. Huskie pitcher Myla Blazejewski held the Lancers to one base runner - on a single by Grace McBride to open the game - and tossed a 13-strikeout shutout in the 16-0 win over LaVille. McKenna Christy suffered the loss in the circle for the Lancers, who dropped to 4-12 overall. Coach Garrett McBride's club looks to get back in the win column and take its first INSC victory when they face Knox at 5:30pm on May 12.
