AKRON - The LaVille softball team traveled to Tippecanoe Valley for the final 2026 Indiana Northern State Conference game. Coach Garrett McBride's club led 1-0 heading into the bottom of the third. Tippecanoe Valley turned the game around, scoring 13 runs on 14 hits, sending 17 batters to the plate to shift the momentum. Grace McBride had the lone hit of the game for the Lancers and scored on Lexis Owens sacrifice bunt. MaKenna Christy tossed four innings, allowing 13 earned runs with two walks and four strikeouts. LHS finished 0-10 in INSC play and moved to 6-17 overall.LaVille will travel to Oregon-Davis Wednesday, May 20.
