Lady Hoops Falls At Bremen

BREMEN - LaVille Lady Hoops hit the road to face rival Bremen on Tuesday. The Lions outscored LaVille 34-16 in the middle quarters before Bremen finished with 60-39 non-conference victory. Kila Foster led all scorers with 22 points and Elliana Grubbs added 16 to lead Bremen.  The duo combined for 24 points as the Lions pulled away in the middle quarters. Brooke Edison netted 14 points, Ava Weil 8, and London Kwiatkowski 7 to top the Lancers. Edison also added 9 rebounds and 3 steals for LHS.  Weil and Kwiatkowski chipped in 6 rebounds each. LaVille falls to 0-3 overall and returns to the court November 14 at Trinith Greenlawn. In the junior varsity game, Faith Mejer hit for 15 points and Denni Markin had 13 as the JV Lancers won its second straight game with a 42-15 victory over BHS.
