Girls Bowling Falls To Adams, Rochester

SOUTH BEND - The LaVille girls bowling team faced off against South Bend Adams and Rochester in a doubleheader at Chippewa. Jaedyn Shaw and Brooklyn Smith led the Lancers against the Eagles in the opener. Shaw and Smith picked up individual points by defeating their respective opponents and helped the Lancers defeat the Zebras in game one. In the second match, Shaw and Allison Easterday helped the Lancers pick up a 33-pin team victory in the first game. Shaw and Easterday finished more than 20 pins above their average as the Lancers totaled 455 pins against Rochester. In the second game, the two teams battled back and forth, only for the final outcome to be decided by just three pins. The Zebras won, 381-378 in the second game and took the final overall score, 12-8. LaVille will return to action on November 11 at Parkway Lanes. The Lancers will open play with a positional round to open, then meet Plymouth in the 3 p.m. match.
