LAKEVILLE - The junior high school basketball team played host to Winamac for a Hoosier North game. In the seventh grade game, LaVille came up on the short end of a 43-30 final score. Liam Amor led the Lancer offense with 12 points. Colten Schwitz had 7, Jonny Yoder 5, Lucas Maenhout 3, Ethan Burgduf 2, and Austin King 1. On the eighth grade side, the Lancers fell 48-22 to Winamac. Trenton Laidig had 12 for LaVille. Griffen Smith added 7 and Nolan Gundrum 3. LaVille returns to action on December 11 for a home game against Oregon-Davis. The seventh grade is scheduled to tip at 6 p.m. The eighth grade will follow.
