Baseball Falls To Jimtown

LAKEVILLE - Baseball played host to Jimtown in a single non-conference game. LaVille fell to the Jimmies, 13-2, at the LaVille High School baseball field. The Lancers scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the third inning. Braedyn Foster opened the frame with a double. Lucas Plmmer laced an RBI-double to center, scoring Foster to put LHS on the board. Plummer advanced to third on a ground out before scoring on a balk by Jimtown pitcher Brodric Kaler. Brayden Schwitz and Andrew Wolford also doubled for the Lancers. Wolford suffered the loss on the bump. Kaler was the winning pitcher. Coach Brian Lawler's club moved to 2-3 overall and will open the Hoosier North portion of the schedule on April 15 against Culver.
