LAKEVILLE - Junior high co-ed track and field played host to Caston and Winamac in a Hoosier North meet. In a battle for conference bragging rights, the Warriors slipped by the Lancers, 60-57. The Comets finished in third with 30 points. LaVille was led by Lawrence Wood with three blue ribbons. Wood won the long jump, pole vault, and 100m. Keenan Richhart won the shot put. The Lancers started strong with 27 points in the field events. On the track, however, the Warriors nipped the LaVille, 30-25. Oregon-Davis will be the next destination for the junior high co-ed track team. LaVille and Culver will visit Hamlet on April 18.
