LAKEVILLE - Junior high co-ed track and field played host to Caston and Winamac in a Hoosier North meet. In a battle for conference bragging rights, LaVille won the triangular meet with 70 points, while the Warriors finished second with 46 and the Comets third with 25. Lexi Huff and Madison Mishler won a pair of blue ribbons. Huff swept the throwing events - discus and shot put - while Mishler added win in the 100 hurdles and 100 dash. TIsha Reese won the long jump and Emma Wisniewski the 200 hurdles. The Lancers recorded 25 points in the field events, while picking up another 35 points in the running events. Oregon-Davis will be the next destination for the junior high co-ed track team. LaVille and Culver will visit Hamlet on April 18.
