WALKERTON - The co-ed track and field teams made a strong showing at the Dennis Rippy Invitational. The boys team finished in second place, just 6.5 points behind host John Glenn. Michael Good won the discus and shot put. Lincoln Hulsey won the pole vault, and Sam Sherk picked up a blue ribbon in the 300 Hurdles. On the girls side, LaVille finished in third place. Top performers were Moriah Richhart (shot put), Reagan Mitchell (pole vault), and the 4X400 relay team of Brooke Edison, Mackena Deason, Mikalah Kuskye, and London Kwiatkowski - all finished in 2nd place. Good work, Lancers! Hoosier North Athletic Conference Championships are up next on May 7 at Knox High School for the gals. LaVille will host the Hoosier North boys championships May 9.
