JH Football Shuts Out Triton

LAKEVILLE - LaVille played host to Triton in a non-conference junior high football game. Led by a strong team defense and the Lancer passing game, LaVille picked up a 26-0 victory over the Trojans. The team 'D' held Triton to less than 100 yards of total offense, forced three Trojan turnovers, and held on for the shutout. Landon Gadsby collected 10 tackles, had a sack, and fumble recovery. Ben DeWitt also had two fumble recoveries. On offense, Liam Amor, Trever Whiteman, and Gadsby hauled in touchdown receptions. Amor also hit paydirt for a 40-yard rushing touchdown. Sam King added the 2-point PAT. Quarterback Colten Schwitz led the passing with 160 yards and 3 TD passes. The junior Lancers will travel to North Judson-San Pierre on September 3 for a 6 p.m.
