The junior high volleyball team faced Triton in a non-conference match. In the 8th grade match, LaVile and the Trojans battled before the Lancers lost a tough fought 23-25, 25-20, 5-15 decision. "Every single player positively contributed to the match," said Lancer coach Jen Highley. "Practice is where we get better and I’m excited to be back in the gym with them." Sophie Jones had two blocks, 4 attacks, and one kill. Bella Higley was 5-6 attacking with two kills. From the service line, Kenzie Foster 8-10 (one ace), Lily Conner 8-10 (one ace), Savannah Wagner 6-7 (one ace) Higley and Savannah Wagner both had two assists. On the 7th grade side, the Lancers fell, 2-0. Emma Wisniewski had 3 aces followed by Alex Bracken, Colette Morgan and Karissa Richhart all having an ace. Karissa Richhart and Emma Wisniewski led in passing with 13 each. Richhart had 2 hits and Zalea Schaefer and Wisniewski each had a hit as well.
