WALKERTON - The junior high boys soccer team traveled to Walkerton Wednesday. LaVille scored in the third minute of the game, then netted five goals in a 10-minute span en route to a 9-0 victory. A total of eight players netted a goal for the Lancers during a balanced offensive attack. Gavin Johnson led the Lancers with two goals. The LaVille defense played tough to earn the shutout. The Lancers return to action September 5 at LaSalle Academy. It will be a girl-boy doubleheader. The gals start at 5:30 p.m., with the guys to follow.
