PLYMOUTH - The volleyball team traveled to neighborhood rival Plymouth for a non-conference match Wednesday. In the varsity match, LaVille fell 3-0 to the hosts. On the junior varsity side, the teams battled for three sets before Plymouth earned a 15-13 win in the final set. Avery Lee led the service game with six aces and also let in attacks with six kills.  Ava Miller topped the defense with seven digs for the Lancer JV. LaVille (4-7) will return to the court on September 5 in an Indiana Northern State Conference match against Jimtown (2-5).  The JV serves up at 5:30 p.m., with the varsity to follow.
