Solid 'D', Lancer Trio Help JH Girls Soccer Get The 'W'

The junior high girls soccer team played LaSalle Academy Thursday. Behind a solid defense and goals from three different Lancer players, LaVille picked up a 3-0 victory. Chloey Cox netted the first goal of the match in the 11th minute to put the guests on top. LaVille added two more goals in the second half - the first by Rory Endicott and Madison Mishler closed out the scoring in the 50th minute. Acelyn Christy registered the assist for Endicott, while Myla Mishler was credited with the assist for Madison's goal. Madison Mishler worked in goal in the first half, notching three saves. Brielle Weber closed out the second half, adding two saves of her own. The Lancers improve to 3-0 on the season and return to action on September 11 against Trinity Greenlawn. The match is scheduled for a 7:15 p.m. start at Newton Park.
