The junior high soccer team played LaSalle Academy Thursday. Lucas Maenhout led the offense with two goals and an assist as LaVille picked up a 3-1 victory. Kyler Christy scored the final goal of the match, assisted by Maenhout. Jamison Norman also earned an assist. Christy also played in goal for the Lancers, earning four saves. The Lancers, who recorded 14 total shots, improved to 3-0 on the season and will return to action on September 11 against Trinity Greenlawn. The match is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start at Newton Park.
