LAKEVILLE - The volleyball team played host to Jimtown in an Indiana Northern State Conference opener. With every point in the balance for the entire match, LaVille and JHS battled before the Jimmies defeated LHS 3-1 at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium. In the varsity match, the Lancers used four hitters to combat Jimtown's size advantage. Reagan Bollenbacher, Olivia Markin, Ragen Wagoner, and Faith Mejer had five kills each. LaVille falls to 4-8 overall and 0-1 in the Indiana Northern State Conference. In the junior varsity match, LaVille fell to Jimtown, 2-1. Avery Lee and Lily Voss led the Lancers. Lee and Voss both had two aces each. Lee had nine assists, while Voss had four kills and eight digs.
