LAKEVILLE - The junior high volleyball team played host to Lincoln in a non-conference match. In the seventh grade match, LaVille fell to the Red Storm, 2-0. Emma Wisniewski had 8 hits with 4 kills, 3 points with 2 aces, and led in passing with 14. Karissa Richhart had 11 passes, 2 assists, and 1 kill. Alex Bracken led in serving with 4 points (2 aces). On the eighth grade side, the Lancers lost, 2-0. Kenzie Foster, Bella Higley, and Trisha Reese each had a kill on the night. "The girls played hard and are really starting to put it together to where we are competitive," said eighth grade coach Jenifere Higley. "We just need to cut down our unforced errors. We’re improving everyday!" LaVille returns to action on September 11. The seventh grade match is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start, with the eighth grade to follow.
