LAKEVILLE - The junior high football team played host to Lincoln. In the B-team game, LaVille fell to Lincoln,33-14. Jonas Oliver had two touchdown catches, Cam Bragg had two TD passes, and Sam King kicked an extra point. In the A-team game, the Lancers and Red Storm finished the game in a 6-6 tie. Johnny Yoder was on the receiving end of a touchdown pass from Colten Schwitz. Dominick Martin and Landon Gadsby led the team in rushing. According to LaVille coach Chad Stanley, "Our boys held (Lincoln) to six points and handed them their first-ever tie game. It was one of the funnest, most exciting games I've ever been a part of." Coach Stanley was also proud of a couple of seventh graders for stepping up. "Due to injuries and other things, we had a couple 7th graders step up and fill in Karsen Ross and Sam King. Both played well."
