The junior high volleyball team traveled to Oregon-Davis for a non-conference match, with the Lancers splitting the seventh and eighth grade matches. On the seventh grade side, LaVilled picked up a hard-earned 2-1 victory over the Bobcats. Karissa Richhart led in serving with 10 points (8 aces) followed by Emma Wisniewski with 7 points (5 aces) and Alex Bracken with 6 points (4 aces). Wisniewski led in passing and led in assists. Wisniewski had 2 kills and a hit. In the eighth grade match, LaVille fell to Oregon-Davis, 2-0. LaVille returns to action on September 12 at Tippecanoe Valley.  The seventh grade starts at 5:30 p.m., with the eighth grade to follow.
