The junior high girls soccer team traveled to Elkhart Christian Academy Saturday. LaVille rallied from a 1-0 deficit early in the match to take a 2-1 lead before falling 5-2 to the Eagles. Acelyn Christy tied the match early in the first half. Chloey Cox was then assisted by Chesney VanTournhout to give the Lancers a brief lead. ECA scored four unanswered goals to defeat LaVille. Brielle Weber had 11 goalie saves for the Lancers. The Lancers are scheduled to return to action on September 24 v. John Young at Emmons Elementary School.
