LAKEVILLE - The girls soccer team played host to LaPorte in a non-conference match Saturday. After playing the first 18 minutes of the match to a 1-1 tie, LaVille scored three unanswered goals to defeat the Slicers, 4-1. Mackena Deason and Mikalah Kuskye scored two goals each to lead the Lancers. LaVille improved to 6-5 overall and will face Culver Community on September 25 at 6 p.m. The match will be played at Newton Park, with the LHS seniors and their parents/guardians being recognized.
