LAKEVILLE - The boys soccer team participated in the inaugural Indiana Northern State Conference. In the semifinal match, LaVille fell 4-0 to John Glenn. Then in the consolation match, the Lancers picked up a 3-2 victory over Tippecanoe Valley. Remington Loftus scored a pair of goals for LaVille, while Isaac Beelby netted the game-winner in the 60th minute. LaVille improved to 5-8 overall and will play host to Caston on October 1 at Newton Park. It will be a doubleheader night for LaVille Soccer - The girl's match against West Noble is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start, with the boy's senior night match immediately following.
