Girls Soccer Finishes Third At INCS Championships

LAKEVILLE - The girls soccer team participated in the inaugural Indiana Northern State Conference. In the semifinal match, LaVille fell 2-0 to Bremen. In the consolation match, the Lancers earned a 3-2 victory over John Glenn. Mackena Deason scored a pair of goals to lead LaVille to a thrilling one goal victory over the Falcons for third place. LaVille improved to 8-6 overall and will play host to West Noble on October 1 at Newton Park. It will be a doubleheader night for LaVille Soccer - The girl's match against the Chargers is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start, with the boy's senior night match with Caston will start immediately afterwards.
