The junior high basketball team opened the 2024-25 season against LaSalle Academy. In the seventh grade contest, balanced scoring led LaVille to a 42-26 victory over the Lions. Pierce Riggs led the Lancers with 10 points. Clark Rowe had 9, Sam King 8, and Trever Whiteman added 7. On the eighth grade side, Ethan Burghduf led all scorers with 11 points and Colten Schwitz chipped in with 5 as the Lancers rallied from a halftime deficit. Burghduf scored 7 of his points in a crucial second half. The Lancers popped three huge 3-pointers, including bombs from Brayton Hochstetler, Liam Amor, and Colten Schwitz.
