LAKEVILLE - The eighth grade basketball team played host to Corpus Christi Saturday at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium. LaVille battled, outscoring the Cougars 13-4 in the fourth quarter, before falling 41-29. Colten Schwitz led the Lancer offense with 12 points. Jonny Yoder had seven, Ethan Burghduf six, and Austin King four. Corpus Christi's Brody Buczolich led all scorers with 17 points. LaVille will travel to Bremen for a Indiana Northern State Conference game on Monday, November 25. The seventh grade is set for a 5pm tip, with the eighth grade to follow.
